Sophie Faldo won series 8 with a disciplined, adventurous style shaped by her time as a Royal Artillery officer and her love of patisserie. After leaving the Army, she found baking in her own kitchen and built a repertoire that sits happily beside her interests in track cycling, rowing, fitness and stunt work.
