Hermine Dossou grew up in Benin and brought a love of French-influenced pâtisserie to series 11. She began baking on her own as a child, and her tent style combined intricate cakes and pastries with the generous, family-feeding spirit she learned from baking for big gatherings.
Hermine Dossou baked on 11 (2020) of The Great British Bake Off. One Hollywood handshake is on file: My Favourite Flavours soda bread loaves, Signature (3 / Bread).
Her son’s bread standards are reportedly set by her sourdough.
