About the baker
A little more of the person behind the handshake.
Henry Bird was the youngest baker in series 10, entering the tent as an English Literature student at Durham University. His elegant, carefully balanced bakes grew from a childhood fascination with the tent itself—filmed near his school—and he went on to finish fifth.
Henry Bird baked on 10 (2019) of The Great British Bake Off. One Hollywood handshake is on file: Chocolate kardemummabullar, Signature (7 / Festival).
The Bake Off tent had been part of his view long before he baked inside it.
